## About Building the Bowling Engine: Core Mechanics

Most spinners think they need more arm speed when the real issue is a leaking base. If your head tilts or your hip collapses before the release, you lose all the energy built up in your run-up. We isolate these movements, using video analysis to identify exactly where your kinetic chain breaks, so you can stop forcing the ball and start spinning it.

### Your Bowling Engine: From Stride to Finish

True spin mastery is about efficiency. Whether you bowl off-spin, leg-spin, or are developing a mystery style, your action must be repeatable under pressure. At our Jakkur facility, we break your bowling into a sequence of biomechanical events.

#### Precision in the Mechanics
- **Front Foot Landing:** We ensure your landing is on the balls of the foot for stability, preventing the drift that wastes energy.
- **Hip Drive & Alignment:** A 'hip collapse' often causes your bowling arm to lose its flow. We use rotational power drills to keep your hips square, ensuring your energy moves towards the target.
- **The Release Point:** This is where the magic happens. We use resistance band work and shadow bowling to ensure your shoulder alignment and finger gaps are perfect at the moment of release.

#### Why Video Analysis Matters
You cannot fix what you cannot see. Our coaching sessions use multi-angle, high-frame-rate recording to compare your action against the ideal biomechanical model. We look for 'energy leaks'—those subtle head tilts or arm path changes that tell a batter exactly what you are going to bowl.

#### Our Approach to Deliberate Practice
We don't believe in mindless net bowling. Every session has a goal. We use:
* **Isolation Drills:** To fix specific technical flaws like non-bowling arm flow.
* **Load Resets:** To standardize your jump and landing.
* **Match Simulation:** To test your remodeled action against real-time pressure.

Yochane maadi maadu (Think and do it). Let's build an action that is not just correct, but effective.

## About Strive and Shine Spin Bowling Academy

I started Strive & Shine to build a home for spinners who need more than just general advice. I look at your individual biomechanics—how your hip, shoulder, and front foot work together—and we fix the leaks one drill at a time. It is not about changing who you are, it is about making your natural action more efficient and deceptive.
