For these designs, I use a calculated mix of about 75% cake, 10% rice crispy treats for fine detail, and 15% food-safe structural elements to keep everything stable. If you have a wild idea, we will start by planning the internal armature so your design survives the trip and stays upright through your entire party. When I say I build structural cakes, I mean it. My Steampunk Horse, which won Gold at Cakeology 2023, and my Ouroboros dragon, a winner in 2024, aren't just shapes—they are fully engineered sculptures. ### How these cakes work Most people see a 3D sculpted cake and wonder how much is actually edible. My process is transparent: * **The Skeleton:** I use food-safe internal armatures, rods, and boards to hold the weight. This is non-negotiable for topsy-turvy or kinetic cakes. * **The Volume:** I use dense mud or pound cake sponges that can handle the carving process without crumbling. * **The Stability:** I use chocolate ganache shells to lock in moisture and create a firm 'skin' that allows me to carve intricate details like dragon scales or mechanical gears. ### Planning your design Whether you need a sneaker-shaped cake, an anime character, or a gravity-defying floating tier for a wedding, I treat it as a project. Because these cakes require structural planning, they have different requirements than standard buttercream designs. If you have a theme in mind, reach out with the concept. I will let you know what is physically possible to build and how we can achieve the look while keeping the cake delicious. I handle delivery across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area with specialized care, ensuring these heavy, delicate structures reach your venue exactly as designed. ## About Bomberry Bakes Hi, I'm Prerana.
