I work with homemade marzipan and fondant, carefully managing CMC ratios to handle Mumbai's humidity, so every detail from the facial expressions to the clothing folds remains firm and edible. Whether it is a first birthday or a carnival-themed bash, these cakes go beyond the standard bakery order. Creating sculpted characters requires a blend of anatomy knowledge and precision sugar craft. I focus on creating vibrant, deep colors without making the fondant bitter, ensuring the final cake looks as good as it tastes. For those who want to create these at home, I cover these exact character techniques in my fondant workshops. We go from basic human anatomy, focusing on facial expressions and hand gestures, to animal figures like lions and monkeys. If you are looking for a cake for your child, I deliver across Mumbai and can manage logistics for custom orders out to Alibag. Every character you see here is handcrafted, and I am always ready to take on your wildest theme ideas to make sure the birthday cake is the highlight of the event. ## About Bomberry Bakes I'm Prerana, and my kitchen is basically my studio. I love building wild, gravity-defying cakes that capture the characters kids actually want, and I am just as happy teaching you how to sculpt them yourself.
