It is an open-air environment, which means it can get warm and a bit dusty, but that is the point—you are here to get your hands dirty, whether you are learning technical filmmaking or the art of debate, and connect with a real community in a space designed for experimentation. ### Why Learn With Us? We believe that learning should be a messy, human experience. When you join a session at the Circus, you aren't just sitting in a row of chairs listening to a lecture. You are engaging with practicing artists, writers, and thinkers who want to share their craft. ### What You Can Expect * **Filmmaking Essentials:** Led by director Aakash Prabhakar, these sessions strip away the technical intimidation of filmmaking. You will learn to use the camera you already have—your phone—to tell stories that actually matter. * **The Art of Argumentation:** We host workshops like 'No More Shower Epiphanies' because we think the best debates happen in real-time, not in your head hours later. You will learn to use logic, culture, and clarity to make your point. * **Book Writing:** If you have been waiting for a sign to start that non-fiction book, this is it. Hosted by authors like Rudresh Jayaram, these sessions focus on the reality of the creative process—the grit, the structure, and the discipline needed to finish what you start. ### The Living Lab Vibe We built this space in a converted warehouse to be an 'urban living lab.' This means you are surrounded by permaculture gardens, recycled art, and other creators. We provide the coffee, the space, and the energy; you bring your curiosity. Most of our sessions are designed for absolute beginners, so leave your judgment at the door and come ready to try, fail, and find your flow. ## About Creative Circus We are the team behind Bangalore Creative Circus, a group of artists and changemakers who turned a giant, scrap-filled warehouse into our own urban playground. We don't just teach skills; we invite you into our madhouse to explore, fail, and create alongside us.
