It’s the fine print on the back of the pack. When a label says chicken flavour, it’s often just chemicals, not the bird itself. Next time you pick up a bag, look for ingredients you can actually pronounce, like real chicken breast, not meat meal. If it’s got a list of preservatives longer than your grocery list, put it back. That’s the #NeverAgain promise in action. ### Why We Started the #NeverAgain Movement For too long, pet food in India has been treated like animal fodder rather than nourishment. We saw our own pets suffering from tummy issues and dull coats, only to realize the culprit was the food we trusted. This cluster is our manifesto to change that. ### What You Need to Know Before You Buy Most commercial kibble relies on heat-extruded processing, which kills nutrients and requires synthetic additives to make the food palatable. We do things differently. Our kitchen functions like a human meal service because your pet deserves the same quality of ingredients you put on your own plate. * **Read the Labels:** If the first ingredient is 'meat derivatives' or 'cereals,' it is not a complete protein source. Look for single-ingredient proteins like chicken breast or lamb. * **Watch the Fillers:** We never use corn, soy, or wheat gluten. These are often used as cheap bulking agents that spike blood sugar levels in pets. * **Preservative-Free is Key:** We use retort packaging to ensure freshness without using chemical preservatives. This keeps our meals shelf-stable at room temperature for up to 12 months without needing a fridge. ### Our Commitment to Transparency We don't hide behind 'proprietary blends.' Every recipe is lab-tested for nutrient profiles and safety. Whether you have a picky eater who needs a bone broth topper or a pet with allergies requiring a grain-free lamb diet, we provide exactly what we claim. It is time to stop guessing and start feeding with confidence. Let’s get your pet back to being their happiest, healthiest self. ## About Blep We started Blep because we were tired of feeding our own pets stuff we wouldn't eat ourselves. We're a team of pet lovers who ditched the industry standard of animal fodder to make real, human-grade meals. If it’s not good enough for our table, it doesn’t go in your pet’s bowl.
