From sunken courts to countryside estates, these frames capture how we blur the line between built structures and the living landscape. ## Photos and videos - [Video: This video is a compilation of some of my favorite moments. From the grand entrance of a countryside villa to the intimate details of a sunken court and the simple joy of walking through a lush garden, these snapshots show how design and nature come together to shape harmonious spaces.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/cb0729fc-df2f-4b41-89a0-e55240544e70) ## About A Look Back: Our Philosophy in Motion Every landscape we design starts with understanding how you move through a space, not just how it looks. Whether we are integrating drainage cells for a rooftop or grading earth for a villa garden, we prioritize the technical layers—soil health, water flow, and structural load—to ensure your green space stays vibrant, sustainable, and truly alive. When we look back at our completed projects, we see more than just finished lawns or stone pathways. We see a conversation between the built environment and the natural world. Our design process begins long before the first plant is chosen, focusing on site-specific master planning that considers sunlight patterns, wind direction, and your unique lifestyle needs. ### The Technical Foundation of Our Design We believe a landscape should not be something you just look at; it should be something you inhabit. Our team specializes in creating 'living' landscapes that balance aesthetics with longevity: * **Rooftop & Terrace Gardens:** We prioritize technical fundamentals like 20mm drainage cells, geotextile membranes, and lightweight soil systems to ensure your garden thrives without compromising structural integrity. * **Villa & Estate Landscaping:** We focus on earth shaping, contour adjustment, and multi-tier tropical planting schemes to create natural privacy buffers and visual depth. * **Sustainable Hardscaping:** From Corten steel planters to WPC decking and natural stone paving, we select materials that age gracefully and require minimal maintenance. Whether it is an urban pocket garden or a large-scale farmhouse development in Ahmedabad, our goal is to build spaces that evolve, grow, and breathe alongside you. If you are looking to bring this philosophy to your property, we are ready to dig in. ## About Biophilia Design Studio At Biophilia Design Studio, nature is our jam—it’s in our name and drives everything we do.
