## About Our Signature Meenakari Jhumkas

I design these jhumkas with a focus on the 'physics' of the piece—using a U-pin base or mesh-backed construction so they have a gentle, pendulum-like movement without the heavy tug on your earlobes. Because I hand-paint every enamel detail myself, if you love a pattern but need a specific colour to match your favourite suit or saree, just tell me. Matching your palette is part of the process, not an extra complication.

### Wearable Art, Not Just Jewellery

When I started Bindhani, my goal was to bring traditional Indian Meenakari to everyday wear without the heaviness that usually comes with such elaborate pieces. My signature collection features vibrant, hand-painted motifs—from floral patterns to our dancing 'moriya' (peacock)—on a copper or brass base.

### Why Lightweight Matters

We build these using hollow or mesh-backed construction. This means you get that grand, festive look for your weddings, pre-wedding functions, or festivals, but you can actually wear them for 8 to 10 hours without the typical ear pain. The enamel is cured for durability, and we finish every piece with hand-fixed pearls or accents that stay secure through long events.

### Made for Your Wardrobe

I believe you shouldn't have to settle for 'close enough' when matching accessories to your outfits. Since we are a 100% women-led unit and work without big machines, I can offer colour customisation. Whether you want a fiery red, a soft pastel pink, or a royal blue, I can adjust the enamel shade to coordinate with your attire. 

### How to Care for Your Jhumkas

Because these are handcrafted enamel pieces, they prefer to be stored in a dry place. We ship every pair in a protective box to keep them safe from moisture and dust. If you are picking these up for a gift or a specific event, just let me know if you need any adjustments to the hook or if you have questions about styling them with other accessories like maang tikas.
