This process is not just about drawing lines, it is about getting the eyes and expressions exactly right. I use grid-method drafting to ensure 95% facial accuracy, then spend the rest of the time layering graphite and charcoal until the portrait feels alive. When you order a devotional piece, I use professional-grade graphite and charcoal on acid-free 180-200 GSM paper. My goal is to ensure the artwork lasts. Once the shading is finished, I apply a matte fixative spray to stop the charcoal dust from smudging or fading over time. Whether it is Lord Hanuman, Lord Krishna, or a respected spiritual leader like Premanand Govind Maharaj, the process stays the same. I start by outlining using the grid method, which helps keep the proportions spot on. Then, I work on the fine details, such as the texture of the jewelry, the folds of the clothing, and the depth in the eyes. If you have a specific reference photo or a combination of ideas in mind, I can merge them into a single, cohesive composition. Every piece is shipped safely, sandwiched between heavy-duty cardboard or rolled in a rigid PVC tube to make sure it reaches you without a single crease.
