You will train on 25mm EVA foam mats in an air-conditioned facility, focusing on real-world competitive standards like the WKF rule set. We move quickly past basic drills into intense sparring sessions that prepare you specifically for district and state-level meets. ### Training with a Purpose We operate with the discipline of a professional sports team. My guru, Hanshi Bharat Sharma, oversees our curriculum, ensuring that every technique, from Kihon basics to complex Ura Mawashi Geri kicks, aligns with global standards set by the World Karate Federation and Karate Association of India. ### The Path to Competition Our goal is not just to teach you the moves, but to get you ready for the podium. We facilitate a direct path to competition for our students: * **Foundational Conditioning:** We prioritize flexibility and stamina through daily stretching and bodyweight circuits. * **Sparring Modules:** Our Kumite sessions use full gear to simulate the intensity of the Delhi Olympic Games and other regional tournaments. * **Team Selection:** Dedicated students have the opportunity to represent the BKA team at high-level events. ### Facility and Routine Our dojo in Janakpuri is designed for high-intensity work. We maintain a rigorous schedule, with classes lasting 60 to 120 minutes depending on your level. Whether you are looking for introductory training or advanced tournament preparation, you are training in a space where students support each other, and where the coaches are invested in your physical and technical growth. ## About Bharat Karate Academy I am Susheel Colvin, and I lead the daily training here at BKA under the watchful eye of my guru, Hanshi Bharat Sharma.
