It represents the strength, discipline, and legacy we uphold in our Delhi dojo, under the direct supervision of Hanshi Bharat Sharma.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/fdec3433-23e7-4cfe-9be8-4a9fd59035ef) ## About Our Identity When you see this emblem on our uniforms and dojo, it stands for more than just a training facility. It signifies a rigorous path where we train as a family, push through daily conditioning, and consistently perform at top-tier events like the Delhi Olympic Games. This is a space where we value effort over empty promises. ### Our Philosophy 'Sangharsh mein aadmi akela hota hai, safalta mein duniya uske saath hoti hai.' (Struggle is a solo ride, but when you win, everyone is with you). This mantra drives our daily operations. We are not a commercial gym. We are a traditional Shotokan dojo where the primary focus is not just fitness, but the pursuit of excellence in karate. ### The Lineage Under the direct supervision of my guru, Hanshi Bharat Sharma, our academy maintains standards aligned with the World Karate Federation and Karate Association of India. As a Senior Coach, my role is to ensure these high technical standards—from Kihon (basics) to advanced Kumite (sparring)—are passed down accurately. When you train here, you are learning a system that has produced medalists. ### Why Train With Us? - **Structured Learning:** Whether you are a beginner or preparing for tournament selection, our curriculum is specific. We focus on stance correction, endurance, and advanced techniques like Ura Mawashi Geri. - **Real Competition Vibe:** Our team is active on the circuit. We train for real-world scenarios, which means high-intensity drills, partner-assisted strength modules, and full-gear sparring. - **Inclusive Atmosphere:** Our academy in Janakpuri welcomes both boys and girls who are serious about their martial arts journey. If you are looking for accountability, a supportive team, and a coach who pushes you to improve every session, you will fit in here. ## About Bharat Karate Academy I am Susheel Colvin, the Senior Coach here. I am merely a shishya (disciple) learning from my guru, Hanshi Bharat Sharma, and my job is to ensure his teachings are passed down to every student who walks through our doors.
