For example, your entrance door direction dictates the ideal doormat color—Green for East-facing, Yellow for South-West. Getting these small details right can change the entire flow of energy in your living room without a single structural change. Designing a home is about more than just aesthetics; it is about the energy you live with daily. When I work on a project, I do not treat Vastu as an afterthought. It is integrated right from the initial floor plan and layout phase. Whether you are in a high-rise in Noida or a bungalow in South Delhi, the principles of energy flow remain consistent. ### The Entrance (The Energy Portal) Your main door is where energy enters. It is not just about security; it is about the first impression. I often suggest placing symbolic elements like a Ganesha idol or an evil-eye charm to protect your home. Even something as small as the doormat color matters—a green mat for an East-facing door or yellow for the South-West creates better alignment. ### Color Psychology & Flow Colors impact mood. In the living room, I lean towards yellow for energy, green for harmony, or blue for tranquility. It is not about following trends blindly, but choosing shades that align with the direction of the room. ### Bringing Life Inside Plants are not just decor. Vastu-approved indoor plants like Tulsi for mental health or Jade for overall wellness are staples in my designs. They clean the air and add a natural, vibrant energy that artificial decor simply cannot match. ### The Pooja Room This is your sanctuary. Whether it is a compact wall-mounted unit or a dedicated mandir room, it needs to be maintained. I often share simple, natural cleaning hacks—like using rice flour paste for stone floors—to keep your sacred space clean without harsh chemicals. ## About Bespoke D.Designers by Divya Gupta I am Divya.
