## About Karva Chauth & Teej Specials

Designing a portrait for Karva Chauth takes time, usually around 1.5 to 2 hours because I focus on fine details like the eyes and jewelry. If you want a specific storytelling scene like a couple with the moon or a traditional jhula, it is best to book me at least a week in advance so we can plan the layout together.

Festivals like Karva Chauth and Hariyali Teej are more than just dates on a calendar. For me, they are an opportunity to weave tradition and storytelling into your hands. Whether you are observing a fast or celebrating with your loved ones, a good mehndi design feels like a prayer. I specialize in portrait-style festival art. For Karva Chauth, I love creating detailed scenes of a wife with her chhalni, looking at the moon, or couples standing together. If you prefer Hariyali Teej themes, I can draw delicate figures on a jhula surrounded by traditional peacocks and floral vines. These designs are different from regular bridal or Arabic patterns. They require a steady hand and a clear vision. I use fine-tip cones to ensure the expressions in the portraits come alive. When we include elements like a kalash, trishul, or small diyas, it adds that extra touch of devotion. Here is a practical heads-up for your appointment: 

- Portrait designs need space. They look best on the palm or the back of the hand where we can fit the figures clearly.
- I use 100% natural henna mix. It is chemical-free, so the stain will develop its full, deep color over 24 to 48 hours.
- If you have a specific scene in mind, send me a reference or let us chat about it beforehand. I want to make sure your hands tell your story perfectly. 

Pricing depends on the level of detail. A quick festival design is simpler, but a custom portrait piece—which usually covers from palm to mid-forearm—is an investment in artistry. My goal is always the same: when you look at your hands after the mehndi fades, you should remember the joy of your festival.
