I stand back and let them diagnose whether the issue is a loose wire, a faulty gear ratio, or a logic error in their code. This is not about following a manual, it is about developing the technical grit to fix what you create. That moment when a child finally sees their machine move perfectly is the goal of every session in my lab. My Pitampura lab is where students from across Delhi NCR come to move beyond toy kits and into real engineering. Whether we are prepping for the Avishkar Innovator competition or building an automated mopping bot to solve a household mess, the process remains the same: identify a problem, design a mechanical solution, and code the logic to make it work. I run an engineering-first curriculum that covers Arduino microcontrollers, mechanical torque, and sensor integration. We do not rely on simulations because physical errors are the most honest teachers. My students learn to handle actual tools, including Allen keys, spanners, and screwdrivers, alongside C++ programming. This is a space for kids who want to stop watching videos about tech and start building it.
