Whether you are aiming for district-level meets or international podiums, our coaches tailor stroke correction, endurance training, and water entry techniques to your specific physical requirements, ensuring you swim smoother and faster. ### Building Champions with a Disability Since 1986, we have maintained a simple philosophy: if you have the will, we have the way. Our para-swimming program is not an afterthought; it is a core pillar of Basavanagudi Aquatic Centre. We have nurtured athletes like Niranjan Mukundan, who became the first Indian para-swimmer to enter the 100 international medal club. ### How We Train Our methodology combines rigorous physical conditioning with specialized coaching: * **Tailored Technique:** Every swimmer has a unique stroke. Our coaches, including Dronacharya awardees, work one-on-one to refine your water entry, pull, and kick, ensuring efficiency and safety in the pool. * **Holistic Support:** High-level performance requires more than just time in the water. Our athletes have access to our in-house fitness centre, sports physio, and massage therapy to prevent injury and aid recovery. * **Mental Conditioning:** Swimming at a competitive level can be taxing. We provide sports psychology support to help our para-athletes maintain focus and mental clarity during high-pressure championships. ### Joining the Team We welcome swimmers of all levels. Whether you are looking for recreational water time to improve mobility or you are an aspiring athlete aiming for the Paralympics, you will find a supportive community here. Our facility features four international-standard pools with ozone-treated water, providing the hygiene and clarity necessary for dedicated training sessions. When you train here, you join a legacy that celebrates every medal, every personal best, and every barrier broken. Come see the pool, meet our coaches, and see how we build the best. ## About Basavanagudi Aquatic Centre We are the team at Basavanagudi Aquatic Centre.
