We require a mandatory house check for all families because our priority is ensuring these animals never have to face the trauma of displacement again. This ensures your home is ready, whether that means safe balcony netting for kittens or secure play areas for an active pup. Finding your furry soulmate is a journey, and we are with you every step of the way. When you adopt a pet through us, you are not just getting an animal; you are getting a family member who has been vetted, vaccinated, and socialized. ### Our Adoption Process We keep the process straightforward but strict. Because we deal with many rescued Indie dogs and kittens, we need to ensure the environment they are moving into is suitable. * **Medical Readiness:** All our pets are dewormed and vaccinated (DHPPi/Anti-Rabies for dogs or Tricat for cats) before they leave. We provide the full medical record so your vet has the history they need. * **Behavioral Assessment:** Since many of our animals come from the streets, we spend time observing their temperament. We will be honest with you about their personality, whether they are a high-energy player or a lap-cat who just wants to cuddle. * **The House Check:** This is non-negotiable. We visit your residence to verify safety. For cat adoptions, this specifically includes checking that your windows and balconies are netted to prevent accidents. ### Why Adopt Indies? There is a special kind of magic in an Indie dog. They are resilient, incredibly intelligent, and loyal beyond measure. When you choose to adopt an Indie puppy or adult dog in Delhi NCR, you are giving a second chance to a dog who truly needs it. We also assist with purebred rehoming when circumstances arise, but our heart is always with the ones who have nobody else to look out for them. Whether you are in Gurgaon, Noida, or Delhi, we are here to help you make the right match. ## About Barks and Meows I am Deepak, and my life revolves around the barks and meows of my rescue family.
