Instead of suppressing these actions with strict commands, we spend time understanding why your dog is acting out. By addressing the 'why,' we help your dog feel secure enough to listen, turning chaos into calm through patience, not punishment. ### Why Force-Free Correction Works When a dog is labeled 'naughty' or 'aggressive,' it is usually their way of communicating distress or confusion. Our approach is built on positive reinforcement, treating every dog with the same respect we would give a child. We do not use yelling or fear-based techniques. Instead, we identify whether the issue is separation anxiety, resource guarding, or simple lack of socialization. ### Our Approach to Behavior We work with dogs facing various challenges: * **Destructive Behaviors:** Chewing furniture or shoes often stems from boredom. We provide mental stimulation and clear boundaries to channel that energy. * **Aggression & Reactivity:** Whether your dog reacts to other dogs or guests, we use desensitization techniques in our controlled farm environment to build their confidence. * **Puppy Management:** From biting to potty training, early correction is essential for a well-adjusted adult dog. ### How We Work With You We offer different programs depending on the severity of the behavior. Our **1-on-1 Behavioral Sessions** allow us to assess your dog’s temperament and provide you with actionable coaching. For more deep-seated issues, our **30-Day Residential Board & Train** program allows your dog to stay at our facility, where they receive consistent routine-setting and structured socialization under 24/7 care. Remember Bruno, the beagle who arrived anxious and reactive? After spending time with us, he is now a calm, happy regular visitor. If you are struggling with your furry friend, reach out. Let’s work together to restore the peace in your home. ## About Bark N Walk We don't see your dog as a 'project'—we see them as a family member who needs a little extra love and guidance.
