It is about understanding the submission process, finding the right literary homes for your stories, and having the courage to put your work out there. When I teach, I bring the exact same feedback loop I use for my own writing—like the process behind my story 'Fidelity'—ensuring you learn to edit with a professional eye before you ever hit 'send' on a submission. Our focus on achievement is practical rather than prestigious. When we launched 'The BWW Book of Emerging Poets' at the Bengaluru Poetry Festival, it wasn't just about adding a title to our list; it was about giving our writers the tangible proof of their growth. My own experience navigating the publishing world—from getting work featured in *The Bombay Literary Magazine* to speaking about our community on All India Radio—directly informs how I mentor you. I don't give generic advice. I walk you through the reality of rejection, the nuance of editing, and the persistence required to see your name in print. Whether you are working on a short story, a collection of poems, or a complex manuscript, my goal is to help you bridge the gap between 'I want to write' and 'I am a published author.' We treat every workshop session as a step toward that finish line, providing the accountability and rigorous critique you need to actually finish what you start. ## About Bhumika Anand I’m Bhumika, and I founded BWW because I believe writing is better when shared. I’m not just here to teach; I’m here to make sure you finish that piece you’ve been procrastinating on and get it ready for the world.
