We do not just fold fabric, we cover the exact tension for hip pleats, the right way to pin for security, and how to get those 'fluffy' pleats that stay in place all day. Whether it is a stiff Kanjeevaram or a flowy Chiffon, you leave my studio knowing how to handle it. ### Why Join a Workshop? My goal is to remove that anxiety. When you learn the logic of the fabric and the anatomy of the pleats, you stop fighting the saree and start enjoying it. ### What You Will Learn - **Precision Pleating:** I walk you through the geometry of pleats so they are uniform, sharp, and sit perfectly against your waist. - **Fabric Handling:** Different materials behave differently. We work on the specific techniques required for heavy silks, light chiffons, and everything in between. - **Security & Comfort:** You will learn where to place pins for maximum hold without damaging the fabric, ensuring you can walk, sit, and dance without your saree shifting. - **Custom Draping Styles:** From the traditional Nivi or Madisar to modern body-fit silhouettes, I teach you how to adjust the drape to your body type and the occasion. ### Workshop Format I keep my sessions intimate—either one-on-one or in very small groups. This is not a lecture where you watch from a distance. It is a hands-on process where I work with you, correcting your hand placement and helping you understand the 'feel' of a perfect drape. You practice until your hands build the muscle memory required to do it confidently at home.
