## About Self-Draping Workshops

You might think perfect pleats come from hours of practice, but it is actually about knowing your fabric's weight. Whether you are struggling with slippery chiffon or heavy silk, we start by practicing on your own body, not a mannequin, so you learn how your specific fabric falls against your frame.

Learning to drape shouldn't feel like a chore. In my JP Nagar studio, I focus on the mechanics of the fabric rather than just following rigid steps. We start with the basics of fabric handling, especially for delicate Kanjeevarams, ensuring you understand how to manage weight and length without tearing your saree. 

### What we cover in my sessions:

*   **Pleating Mechanics:** We focus on getting those 'fluffy pleats' or sharp, standard pleats that stay in place all day.
*   **Style Versatility:** Whether you want to master the traditional Nauvari, the elegant Madisar, or a trendy Butterfly drape, I show you how to structure it based on your body type.
*   **Heatless Setting:** I teach hand-pressing methods to set your pleats perfectly without damaging your silk with a hot iron box.
*   **Posture and Movement:** Draping is also about comfort. I help you figure out the right pinning strategy so you can walk and sit without the saree coming undone.

I offer both one-on-one sessions for focused attention and group workshops if you prefer to learn with others. By the end of our time together, you will know exactly how to prep your saree, secure your pallu, and create a drape that feels secure and looks effortless. If you are outside Bangalore, I also host online consultations to troubleshoot specific draping issues via video call.
