Instead of just running drills, our coaches stop the session to fix your stance, hand placement, or footwork mid-repetition. This immediate feedback builds muscle memory far faster than generic group practice, helping you command 1v1 situations and high balls with the technical precision required for competitive leagues. At Bangalore City FC, we treat goalkeeping as a specialized craft, not just an afterthought to outfield training. Led by Head of Goalkeeper Development Sahood Faisal, who holds an AFC B-License, our sessions are designed to simulate real match pressure. We move beyond basic drills to focus on the modern demands of the position. ### Our Training Focus * **Distribution:** We train keepers to be the first point of attack, not just a defensive stopper. You will learn to initiate plays from the back with accuracy. * **1v1 Aggression:** We teach the technique of closing angles and smothering the ball safely at the striker's feet, reducing the chance of a goal. * **Aerial Command:** We simulate crossing scenarios to ensure you can claim high balls under physical pressure. ### The Pathway Training here is structured for growth. We run dedicated trials for our U13 to U19 squads competing in the I-League Youth and BDFA Super Division. If you have the drive, we provide the platform to get scouted and advance. Whether you are training at the Sports Web in Hennur or our other turf venues, the intensity remains constant. We use video analysis to ensure you understand not just where you went wrong, but exactly how to fix it for the next match. ## About Bangalore City FC We are the Lions of Bangalore. We don't just train players; we build footballers for life, and our goalkeeping unit is the heartbeat of that mission. If you have the fire to command the box and the hunger to grind, you belong here.
