Real route setting is a mix of heavy lifting, drill safety, and understanding physics. We start with the absolute basics, like handling impact drivers and understanding hold anatomy, before moving into creating flow and specific movements that challenge every climber, from total beginners to competition-level athletes. ### The Art and Science of Setting Most people look at a climbing wall and assume the holds are placed randomly, but I want to teach you the method behind the madness. Route setting is a creative process, and yes, it involves a fair bit of jugaad. My goal is to show more people in India that setting is a skilled craft, not just something you wing. ### Choose Your Path * **1-Day Setting Fundamentals Clinic:** This is for those who are curious about the 'why' and 'how' of route setting. You will spend 4 to 5 hours with me getting comfortable with drill safety, torque settings, and basic hold selection. By the end of the day, you will have set your own testable boulder problems on the wall. * **3-Day Advanced Route Setting Intensive:** This is for those who want to get serious. It covers the full lifecycle of a gym wall. We go deep into aesthetics, vector physics, and handling pro-grade competition gear, including Cheeta and Flathold fiberglass volumes. We cover everything from stripping old walls and pressure washing holds to forced movement and forerunning your own grades. ### Why Learn Here I have spent years refining this craft to represent India at the World Championships.
