We strip away the office hierarchy because, on the dance floor, you are only as strong as your ability to listen to your partner. It is a very practical, non-verbal way to fix communication gaps in a team, and it works regardless of whether you have ever stepped on a dance floor before. ### How Tango Reshapes Team Dynamics Tango is a conversation, not a monologue. In a corporate environment, this is exactly what teams often miss. My approach, based on the TangoShastra method, is not about teaching you how to perform; it is about teaching you how to feel the tension, the rhythm, and the intention of the person you are working with. ### What Happens in a Session Each 90-minute workshop is designed to be interactive and low-pressure. We start with a professional demonstration, but the core of the session is the workshop. * **The Mechanics of Listening:** We practice the embrace. It sounds simple, but maintaining a connection while moving requires you to actually listen to your partner's weight and balance. This translates directly to how you handle project shifts or client demands. * **Leading vs. Following:** Most people think the leader just gives orders. In Tango, a leader is responsible for the partner’s comfort and success. We explore how to guide effectively without overpowering, and how to follow actively, offering feedback through movement. * **Practical Takeaways:** You don't need special skills or a background in dance. We focus on biomechanics and trust-building. By the end of the session, your team will have a shared experience that makes it easier to communicate, laugh, and connect back at the office. These sessions are perfect for team bonding events, wellness days, or as an ice-breaker for leadership retreats. We come to your space in Bangalore with the music, the expertise, and the structure. If you are curious about how this can work for your specific team, let's talk. ## About Roopa Math I am Roopa, and I left engineering to pursue Tango full-time because I saw the power of this connection.
