In our group classes, we keep the batch size strictly limited to 5 students, so you get the hands-on guidance needed to fix your posture and chord transitions early. If you are just curious, our 90-minute workshops include instrument rental, so you can see if the ukulele is the right fit before committing to a full course. We often hear from students who were intimidated by the idea of 'learning music.' They assume it means endless scales and boring drills. At BAM, we do things differently. Our curriculum is built around the songs you actually want to play—whether that's a classic like 'I'm Yours' or a Bollywood favorite. By focusing on song-based learning, you start making music from day one, which keeps you motivated to keep coming back. ### Why Choose Ukulele? It is the ideal bridge into music theory without the mental load. Because the ukulele has fewer strings and a softer nylon touch, it is much easier on the fingers than a guitar, making it excellent for both young children and adults who have never played an instrument. ### Our Approach in Andheri West * **Small Batches:** Our group sessions are capped at 5 students. This ensures that even in a group setting, our Trinity College-certified instructors can give you the individual correction you need to progress. * **No Instrument Needed Initially:** For our introductory workshops, we provide the instruments. You just need to show up. * **Balanced Learning:** We mix ear training with basic chord structures. You will learn to hold the instrument, tune it, and transition between chords smoothly while having fun. Whether you are looking to pick up a new skill, find a stress-buster after work, or get your kids off screens and into a creative habit, these lessons are designed to be a safe, relaxed space. We are not here to judge your progress; we are here to help you enjoy the process of making music. ## About BAM Academy of Music I’m Brendan, and I started BAM to make music feel like a conversation rather than a classroom drill. My team and I believe anyone can play—yes, even you—and we have built our space in Andheri West to be a place where you can just show up, strum, and actually have fun doing it.
