I mix dense, moist cake crumbs with a rich ganache binding so they stay gooey on the inside, then hand-dip each one into a crisp shell of premium dark chocolate. They travel well, so they are my go-to recommendation if you're looking to send a thoughtful little gift that feels personal instead of store-bought. ### Why these are special I call these my 'Bombe à gâteau.' I wanted to create something that wasn't just a heavy slice of cake, but a small, intense chocolate experience. The magic is in the ratio—lots of ganache mixed into the cake crumbs so it almost melts when you bite into it. Because I use dark chocolate for the outer shell, it isn't overly sweet, which is why even people who say they don't like dessert often find themselves finishing the whole box. ### Giftability and sharing These come in a box of nine, making them the perfect size for a thoughtful gesture. Whether you are dropping a box off at a friend's place or just keeping a stash in your own fridge for those late-night cravings, they hold up beautifully. Since I bake everything from scratch in my home kitchen, I don't use any preservatives. This means the flavor is fresh, but it also means I need a little time to prepare them for you. ### How to enjoy They taste best at room temperature, but if you like a firmer snap from the chocolate shell, keep them in the fridge. Just take them out a few minutes before you plan to eat so the ganache center softens up. If you're ordering for a birthday, anniversary, or just because, reach out and let me know. I can add a small note to the box to make it extra special. ## About Nidhi I'm Nidhi, a home baker and mom.
