Since I bake from scratch—like soaking the dry fruits for my Christmas rum cakes in Old Monk well in advance—I need that time to ensure the flavors have developed and every detail is just right for your table. Holidays are about connection, and for me, that starts in the kitchen. My approach to festive baking is simple, real, and completely free of pre-mixes. Whether it is a batch of Christmas rum cakes for a family gathering or a festive hamper for Raksha Bandhan, I treat every order as if I am baking for my own family. ### Why my festive bakes are different - **Authentic Ingredients:** For my Christmas loaves, I use real Old Monk rum to soak the fruits, ensuring that rich, traditional flavour. You won't find artificial essences here. - **Handmade Details:** From the piped stars on my 'Jai Hind' cakes to the custom ribbons on my Raksha Bandhan hampers, every element is done by hand. - **Freshly Made:** I do not keep stocks. Your cake or hamper is prepared only after you confirm your order, which is why the 48-hour notice period is crucial to my process. ### Popular Festive Choices - **Christmas:** Rich, boozy fruit cakes and loaves that have become a seasonal staple. - **National Holidays:** Patriotic themed cakes, like my Independence Day 'Jai Hind' cake, made with fresh buttercream. - **Gift Hampers:** I assemble custom gift hampers for festivals, combining my popular bakes with careful packaging to make gifting easy for you. If you have a specific festival or occasion coming up, just send me a message. I love discussing themes and flavors to make sure your celebration feels special. ## About Nidhi I am Nidhi, and my kitchen is where I find my peace.
