It offers a slightly different bounce that makes for really interesting doubles rallies. Just a heads up: you’ll need to bring your own rackets and shuttles since we don’t provide gear on-site, but the court is otherwise prepped and ready for your crew. Playing doubles is all about coordination and quick reflexes, and our court is built for exactly that kind of action. Located right here in Sion, this space is an indoor, multi-sport artificial grass turf housed under an industrial shed. ### The Setup Don’t expect a fancy wooden floor with a dress code. This is an adda for people who just want to play. We have high-intensity overhead LED floodlights so you can track the shuttle even if your game goes late into the evening. The space is naturally ventilated with industrial wall fans, so while it isn't an AC court, it stays airy enough for a good workout. ### Why Book Here? - **No Weather Woes:** It’s fully covered, so rain or extreme Mumbai heat won't cancel your plans. - **Squad Friendly:** Our 60-minute slots are designed for groups of four. Whether you're planning a casual weekend game or a serious practice session, it's the right amount of time to get a good sweat going. - **Community Vibe:** We built this place because Sion needed a spot where you can walk in as a stranger and leave with new friends. There’s no drama, no judgment, and plenty of room for all skill levels. ### Practical Tips for Your Booking Since this is an artificial turf court with specific markings, wearing clean running shoes or non-marking sports shoes is recommended. We provide the net assembly, so you just need to bring your gear and your partner. If you’re coming during the weekend, we suggest booking your slot early as the court fills up fast with regular squads. ## About Badminton Academy I started this academy because I wanted a place in Sion where you could just walk in, meet some buddies, and play. We aren't a fancy club with dress codes—we’re just here for the love of the game, the sweat, and the post-match laughs. If you're looking for a spot to get your doubles game on, this is where it happens.
