For these classic sessions, I recommend bringing a crisp white shirt, your favourite pair of well-fitting jeans, or a simple black dress. We keep the lighting clean and focused, ensuring the attention stays entirely on you and your bump. When people ask for a simple maternity shoot, they often worry it will look boring. I find it is quite the opposite. By removing busy backgrounds and heavy styling, we create an environment where your emotions take center stage. These sessions are about the way you hold your belly, a soft smile toward your partner, or the quiet contemplation of what is to come. In my Malviya Nagar studio, I use a range of solid backdrops—neutral greys, black, or soft whites—to ensure your portraits remain timeless. These are the photos you will look back on in ten years and see yourself, not just a trend. ### What to expect in a classic studio session: * **Personalised comfort:** You are welcome to wear your own clothes. If you feel confident in jeans and a tee, that is exactly what we should capture. * **Minimalist direction:** I skip the stiff posing instructions. Instead, I guide you into natural movements that feel comfortable for you. * **Focused lighting:** We use studio lighting to highlight your silhouette, giving the images depth without needing elaborate sets. If you have a specific vision, even if it is just a simple idea involving a specific memory or ultrasound scan, tell me before we start.
