We break down the technicals—like hip drops, chest diamonds, and those fun shimmies—but we focus just as much on the community. Whether you choose our Jayanagar, Malleswaram, or online sessions, you are stepping into a supportive, small-batch group where we celebrate your progress with choreography shoots and showcases. At Azaya Dance Academy, we believe belly dance is for every body. Established in 2017, our academy has grown into a space where women from all walks of life come to find rhythm, strength, and friendship. We don't just teach the steps; we teach self-love. ### Why Dance With Us? We specialize in Indian fusion belly dance, blending classical movements with traditional belly dance techniques. Our classes are designed to be a complete escape from the daily 9-to-6 grind. You will find that our sessions are full of laughter, quirkiness, and a whole lot of 'Chu Chu Shimmy' energy. We keep our batches small, typically 10-15 students, to ensure everyone gets personal attention and space to grow. ### What You Will Learn Our curriculum covers everything from the basics to advanced prop mastery: - **Foundations:** Core isolations, hip drops, figure 8s, and undulations (camels). - **Technique Drills:** Training in Turkish, Lebanese, and our signature fusion styles. - **Props:** We love incorporating silk veils, swords, and finger cymbals to build arm strength and posture. - **Performance:** For those who want the stage experience, we offer opportunities to perform in our studio showcases. ### Where To Find Us We operate out of Jayanagar, Malleswaram, and Sahakarnagar in Bengaluru. If you cannot make it to the studio, our live online series brings the same supportive, high-energy environment directly to your living room.
