The trick isn't just the product—it's the direction. I always teach my students to alternate the barrel rotation from left to right, right to left. This creates that seamless, natural flow that doesn't just look good in photos, but holds up for hours at a wedding or event. When you look at hair that stays perfect through an entire reception, you are seeing technique, not just a mountain of hairspray. My masterclass focuses on stripping away the 'illusion' and getting back to the basics of texture. We start with the fundamentals of heat control. Whether we are aiming for tight, bouncy party curls or relaxed Hollywood waves, the goal is always shine and movement. If the hair looks stiff, you’ve done it wrong. In my 7-day intensive course in Delhi, we break down: - Ridge formation for retro waves: How to get that clean S-shape without it looking flat. - The 'Wave Method': Why I tell students to forget traditional curling and focus on intentional direction. - Product pairing: Using the right mousse and spray to lock in style without the sticky residue. I demo these styles on live models, and then it is your turn. You practice on the mannequin head I provide, and I am right there on the floor to correct your hand movement. We don't move on to the next style until you can replicate that glossy finish on your own.
