Because we keep the groups intimate, you’re always part of the dialogue, whether we’re breaking down the history of a handwoven saree or unpacking a complex independent film with the creators. At Atta Galatta, we view our space as an extension of your own living room—only with a few more people to talk to. Our events bring together curious minds to bridge gaps in perspective, knowledge, and community. We believe the best learning happens when people feel comfortable enough to ask questions, share their own stories, and challenge existing ideas. ### What You Can Expect * **Critical Dialogues:** We provide a platform for important conversations, ranging from legal and social panels on issues like 'Love, Law & Resistance' to discussions on human rights and social justice. * **Cultural Deep-Dives:** Through our 'Weaving a Story' series with Aparna Jayashankar, we explore the history, mythology, and politics behind India’s textile traditions, connecting you directly with the people who keep these crafts alive. * **Independent Cinema:** As a home for the ALT EFF Film Club and various community screenings, we bring impactful short films and documentaries to Indiranagar that spark real reflection, always followed by an open-floor discussion. Why join us? Learning here isn't a passive experience. You might come for a workshop on Khadi or a documentary screening, but you will likely stay for the conversation afterward. Our events in Bengaluru are designed to help you find your people, trade ideas, and leave with a little more than what you arrived with. Check our schedule or just drop by to see what we are discussing next. ## About Atta Galatta We are Atta Galatta, and we believe stories don't just live in books—they happen when people meet. Our auditorium in Indiranagar is a safe, open space where you can share ideas, learn new skills, or just sit with a like-minded community.
