Whether it is a dedicated station where family can paint traditional folk art on tote bags or a custom fruit cart styled with fresh pomegranates, my focus is on creating pockets of activity that turn a standard event into a shared, living memory. My design process begins with your history, not a standard catalog. When styling an outdoor brunch at a venue like the Oberoi Amarvilas, I look at the existing architecture first. We let the arches, the stone, and the natural light guide our choice of fabric and floral volume, rather than forcing a heavy, synthetic look. For Mehendi ceremonies, this philosophy remains the same. I focus on sensory engagement. I have replaced standard photo booths with interactive painting stations, allowing guests to stencil Pichwai or Warli art onto keepsakes. We also design custom bar fasciae, like a vibrant Spanish-themed strip for a Haldi or a pomegranate-themed fruit cart, which ground the decor in the event’s specific mood. My approach is to build a narrative environment. If you want a space where your guests find themselves naturally engaging with the decor, whether it is through a thoughtfully placed lounge nook, a hand-painted signage board, or an intimate floral corner, we should talk about how we can tell your story in the daylight. ## About Atelier by Prerna Joshi I treat every event like a love letter to design, where your personal story dictates every texture and bloom. I love the chaos of slow-blooming days, where we play with fabrics, paints, and petals until a space feels entirely yours. My team and I are here for those who want their event to feel like a real, breathing experience, not just a set piece.
