## About Hand-Embroidered Jodhpuri & Bandhgala Jackets

When you visit my studio, we do not just pick a size. We work through the fabrics like velvet, pashmina, or brocade to see what feels right for your frame. I prefer having you in for at least a couple of fittings to ensure the structure sits correctly across your chest and shoulders, giving you a sharp, comfortable fit that is truly yours.

### The Craft of a Perfect Fit
A Jodhpuri or Bandhgala jacket is a staple for formal Indian occasions, but the secret lies in the construction. I focus on semi-canvas construction, which provides a structured look without feeling stiff or heavy. When we work together, we discuss the occasion to decide the fabric weight. For winter weddings, I recommend pashmina or heavy velvet. For lighter, summer events, we can look at premium brocades or linens.

### Styling Your Look
The beauty of these jackets is their versatility. You can style a Bandhgala with a pocket square and brooch for a formal look, or pair it with an inner kurta for something more traditional. I also specialize in adding hand-painted motifs or Zardosi work, which allows you to turn a standard jacket into a statement piece.
