When you choose a minimalist cake, you are choosing to focus on the moisture and flavour inside rather than thick layers of sugar. Since I bake everything from scratch in small batches to ensure quality, these styles require a little planning, so please reach out a few days before your event to confirm availability. ### Why I Choose Minimalist Designs For me, a cake should taste as magical as it looks. That is why I lean towards whipped cream finishes rather than fondant. Fondant can often hide the flavour or make a cake overly sweet, whereas whipped cream keeps the texture light and balanced. Whether it is a rustic floral design or a clean, sharp finish, my goal is to create something that looks elegant and tastes fresh. ### The 'From Scratch' Promise Every cake here is 100% egg-free and made from scratch. You will never find premixes, artificial flavours, or canned fillings in my kitchen. From the cake sponge to the sauces, everything is homemade. This means: * **Real Fruit:** No artificial crushes or tinned fruit; only fresh, seasonal produce. * **Balanced Sweetness:** Because I use high-quality, real ingredients, I do not need to mask flavours with excess sugar. * **Freshness First:** I bake and assemble orders on the day of delivery, so your cake arrives with the best possible texture. ### Customisation Without Compromise Minimalist does not mean basic. It means precise. Whether you want a simple anniversary cake with gold leaf accents or a theme cake for a kid's birthday, I use carefully placed details—like handmade fondant toppers or fresh flowers—to bring your vision to life without compromising the flavour profile. My focus is always on making sure the cake you receive is exactly what you hoped for, both in presentation and in that first bite. ## About Asti's Bon Appétit Hi, I am Asti.
