It's about building discipline, character, and keeping your health strong - "aarogyana kapadikolli" (take care of your health) is something I repeat often. We push hard, but never lose our humility. Osu! ### How We Train for the Big Leagues Our competitive karate training covers every angle: - **Kumite Sessions:** Here, it's all about smart fighting and control, not just throwing punches. We use full protective gear, so injuries are rare. Every session, I'm right there, correcting and motivating. - **Kata Performance Training:** Kata is non-negotiable. We drill together, sometimes in the dojo, sometimes outside. From basics to advanced forms, we focus on detail and timing. - **Karate Conditioning Drills:** Training is tough - lots of fitness work, flexibility, and core strength. Some days you'll feel tired, but that's where champions are made. ### Where We Compete My students, namma makkalu (our children), have gone from local youth karate tournaments to international karate competitions. We’ve stood on podiums in London, Kuala Lumpur, and all over India. I travel with them, sometimes as coach, sometimes as parent. ### More Than an Academy Honestly, we’re like family. Wins are celebrated joragi (with energy), and so are birthdays. We back each other up, through training and life. For us, discipline and heart go hand in hand. ## Highlights Browse through Ashoka Martial Arts Academy's best work. ### [Featured](https://mytribe.in/ashokmartialarts/competitive-karate-training/featured) - ![This is what victory looks like. You’ll see us together - students, me, sometimes my daughter Prarthana (she’s a karate champ, proud dad moment!) - training, playing drums, celebrating wins and losses. We travel, we compete, we learn. Sometimes I take a break, shave my head, go spiritual. For us, it’s all about balance - tough training, real fun, and growing together. ### My work - **Martial Arts & Karate Training**: We teach Karate, self-defense, Nunchaku, Bo Staff classes, and prep for competitions at all levels. - **Training Style**: Discipline first, but we keep it patient. 'Nidhanakke kandro' (slowly, my dears) - focus and humility matter. - **Who Can Join**: Kids, adults, boys, girls - everyone’s welcome. Safe, encouraging space. Regular karate belt exams. - **Academy Life**: We’re a big family - registered, training outdoors or in the dojo, celebrating with drums and dance after competitions. ## More services from Ashoka Martial Arts Academy - [Self-Defense & Weapons Training](https://mytribe.in/ashokmartialarts/self-defense-weapons-training) · ₹1,200-4,500 per student per month (estimate) - [Karate Training](https://mytribe.in/ashokmartialarts/karate-training) · ₹1,200-3,000 per month per student (estimate) ## Experts similar to Ashoka Martial Arts Academy on mytribe - [Karate Training by AK Martial Arts and Fitness Academy](https://mytribe.in/ashishk6192021/karate-training) · ₹1,500-3,500 per student per month (estimate) · AK MARTIAL ARTS AND FITNESS ACADEMY - [Competitive Karate Training by Sudokann Martial Arts](https://mytribe.in/zainmartialarts/competitive-karate-training) · ₹2,000-4,000 per student per month (estimate) · Sudokann martial arts - [Competitive Karate Training by World Nihon Shotokan Karate Federation](https://mytribe.in/wnskf.karate/competitive-karate-training) · ₹1,500-4,000 per student per month (estimate) · Prestige Falcon City - [Karate Competition Coaching by Shito-ryu Karate Warriors Academy](https://mytribe.in/karnatakakarate/karate-competition-coaching) · ₹2,000-4,500 per student per month (estimate) · Bengaluru - [Competitive Karate Training by GD Sharma](https://mytribe.in/karate_class_bangalore_/competitive-karate-training) · ₹2,500-6,000 per student per month (estimate) · THE LIFE ENGINEERING FOUNDATION - [Shotokan Karate Training by Temple of Martial Arts](https://mytribe.in/tma_karate/shotokan-karate-training) · ₹1,200-3,000 per student per month (estimate) · Temple of Martial Arts - Bannerughatta - [Karate Classes for Kids by OSK Academy](https://mytribe.in/oskacademy/karate-classes-for-kids) · ₹1,200-3,000 per child per month (estimate) · Okinawa Shorin-Ryu Karate Academy - [Martial Arts Classes by Revolution Martial Arts & Fitness Academy](https://mytribe.in/team_revolution_bhatkal/martial-arts-classes) · ₹1,500-3,500 per student per month (estimate) · Revolution Martial Arts Academy best Karate Class Azad Nagar - [Martial Arts & Self-Defense Training by Dada](https://mytribe.in/dadabangalore/martial-arts-self-defense-training) · ₹1,200-3,000 per student per month (estimate) · Sri Durga Parameshwari Temple - [Karate Training by OSK Federation](https://mytribe.in/shihan_suresh_kenichira/karate-training) · ₹1,200-3,500 per student per month (estimate) · OSK Federation of India - [Karate Training by Amarsha Karate & Fitness Academy](https://mytribe.in/team_akfa/karate-training) · ₹1,200-3,000 per student per month (estimate) · AKFA Karate Class - [Martial Arts Training by National Martial Arts and Fitness Academy](https://mytribe.in/nationalmartialartsandfitness/martial-arts-training) · ₹1,800-5,000 per month per student (estimate) · National Martial Arts and Fitness Academy ( NMFA - India ) ## Book To book Ashoka Martial Arts Academy, message mytribe on WhatsApp: [Chat on WhatsApp](https://wa.me/916360004054?text=Hi%2C%20I'm%20looking%20for%20Competitive%20Karate%20Training%20by%20Ashoka%20Martial%20Arts%20Academy.)
