# Ashley Alvares

I'm an open-format DJ spinning everything from Disco and Amapiano to 90s retro. My specialty is creating custom mashups, blending Detroit hustle with Desi swagger to get the crowd vibing.

## Meet your expert

### My story

Honestly, I still can't believe half the stuff that's happened. From bunking school to watch Real Madrid, to actually playing their anthem for the Legends team? Mad, right? Still just a fanboy, like when I met Johnny Lever—brothers made that happen. My dog Enzo's my main hype guy, approves all my posts. First award, still clueless about captions. Grateful for all the madness, the wins, the love. Let's keep smashing it!

### My work

- **Open Format DJ Sets**: I spin everything—Disco, Hip Hop, Amapiano, Baile Funk, and those 90s retro tracks. Only for folks who wanna groove.
- **Custom Edits & Mashups**: Love mixing Detroit hustle with Desi vibes, like Ed Sheeran meets Kun Faya Kun. Afrobeat Bollywood mashups? Always.
- **The Vibe**: Festivals, Holi parties, rooftop sundowners, barbershop gigs—energy’s always top. If the crowd’s not vibing, I’m not done.
- **DJ Community**: Started a WhatsApp group for DJs to share edits and remixes. Just building the tribe, one track at a time.
