I always recommend letting the henna dry for at least six hours to get that deep, dark mahogany shade that makes these traditional patterns really pop. Traditional Indian and Rajasthani mehndi is all about the story within the design. When I sit down to create these pieces, I focus on the balance between negative space and the heavy, intricate patterns that define this style. Whether it is the royal elephant, the classic peacock with its flowing tail, or the detailed jharokha (window) motifs, every element has a purpose. ### Why Choose Traditional Rajasthani? 'Rang jaau joo mai haat lagau' is the goal—I want the colour to be as vibrant as the celebration. We use 100% natural, organic henna powder mixed with essential oils, which we prepare fresh to ensure quality. To get that deep, maroon colour, avoid washing your hands immediately after removal. Keep the henna dry and warm, and let it oxidize naturally over 24 hours. ### Customization for Your Event While these patterns are rooted in tradition, I can always customize them to fit your story.
