We spend time on the specific pencil pressure needed to capture the soft, joyous expression of Ganesha or the jolly texture of Santa’s beard. You’ll walk away with a piece you’re actually proud to hang up, even if you’ve never picked up a charcoal pencil before. Art is a wonderful way to mark festivals and special moments. Whether you are creating a Ganesha sketch to celebrate the occasion or drawing Christmas characters to get into the holiday spirit, these sessions are all about connecting with the subject. At my studio in Kalena Agrahara, we take things slow. I believe that anyone can create, so I guide you through the process step-by-step. We focus on techniques that bring these festive themes to life: * **Pencil Shading & Depth:** For Ganesha sketches, we focus on the jewelry and clothing details. We use graphite to create that sense of depth, making the idol look grounded and realistic. * **Color Layering:** For festive characters like Santa, we explore how to layer colors to create vibrant, joyful illustrations that really pop off the page. * **Texture Work:** We practice how to draw textures—like the fur of a snowman or the intricate patterns on a traditional Ganesha drawing—so you learn more than just copying a reference. You don’t need to bring a thing. We provide all the drawing sheets, pencils, and colors. My goal is to make sure you have a relaxing, happy hour where the stress of the day just melts away as you create something beautiful.... And yes, whether you are 5 or 75, there is always a spot for you to create your own masterpiece here. ## About Art Voyage Hi, I’m Chanchal.
