I pour my heart into each piece, trying to capture those small, fleeting moments that make life, well, life. Sometimes it's a memory from a solo trip, sometimes just a feeling that sticks around. My art isn’t about chasing perfection - it’s about the story and the mood. ### What I Love to Paint - *Travel scenes with a twist*: Think pahad (mountains), lakes, sunsets, or maybe that cute homestay where you drank chai (tea) by the window. If you’ve got a travel memory, I’d love to turn it into a hand-painted travel memory keepsake. - *Furry buddies*: I’m a sucker for animal portrait miniature painting. I once painted a Red Panda from Darjeeling and honestly, it made my week. - *Festive feels*: Whether it’s a snowy winter night or a field of spring flowers, I can paint the vibe you want to hold onto. ### How I Work I use oil paints on mini canvases - usually around 3x3 or 3x4 inches. I play around with brushes and palette knives to add texture. Honestly, I just go with the flow. Sometimes, the “mistakes” end up being my favourite part. Bob Ross was right about those happy little accidents. ### Why Go Mini? They’re small but packed with detail. Perfect as a unique small oil painting gift, a souvenir, or just a cute piece for your desk or shelf. I hope you find a little bit of yourself in my work. ## Highlights Browse through Life in Strokes's best work. ### [Featured](https://mytribe.in/arts.ashima/custom-miniature-oil-paintings/featured) - ![This little painting holds a big memory for me, the stunning Chandrataal Lake from my trip to Spiti Valley. Honestly, this all started as my art diary, just me scribbling moments that made me smile. I used to run from drawing people, but after a few online classes and some trial-and-error (almost tossed my iPad once!), I found my groove. My travels pop up in my sketches—Naukuchiatal lakes, Vietnam streets, my pup Joey’s goofy face. Every piece is a little memory, cozy and real, like a warm hug at the end of a long day. ### My work - **Custom Art Commissions**: I create digital pet portraits, travel-inspired art, landscape paintings, character sketches, and personal gifts. - **Art with a Story**: My style is loose, sketchy, sometimes focused on forest greens or sunset colors, mostly done on iPad or mini canvas. - **Inspired by Life’s Moments**: A cozy cafe, a street in Mumbai, or my beagle Joey—my art is full of memories I want to keep. - **Embracing Happy Little Accidents**: Not every piece is perfect. Sometimes a mistake turns into my favorite part—just enjoying the process. ## More services from Life in Strokes - [Custom Digital Illustrations](https://mytribe.in/arts.ashima/custom-digital-illustrations) · ₹1,000-6,000 per illustration (estimate) ## Book To book Life in Strokes, message mytribe on WhatsApp: [Chat on WhatsApp](https://wa.me/916360004054?text=Hi%2C%20I'm%20looking%20for%20Custom%20Miniature%20Oil%20Paintings%20by%20Life%20in%20Strokes.)
