Being a makeup artist is not just about the final photograph. It is about the early morning wake-up calls, the logistics of destination weddings, and the constant need to remain calm under pressure. My work is a blend of artistry and management, and my team is a huge part of how I ensure consistency. ### Why Process Matters When I am not working on a bride, I am usually teaching in my academy. I teach my students exactly how I work—starting with skin prep, not just makeup. We use hydrating cleansers and massage techniques to depuff the face, which is essential for those 3 AM muhurtham calls. Whether I am personally there or my team is handling the initial steps, the technique remains the same: gentle, focused, and stress-free. ### The Reality of Bridal Work Things go wrong. Flights get canceled, traffic in Bengaluru is unpredictable, and last-minute changes happen. My philosophy is simple: stay calm, think smart, and find a solution.
