When I work on a depiction of a guru or a deity, I do not just sketch. I layer, shade, and ink to get the vibe right. Whether it is the intricate mandala patterns framing Shiva or the serene features of a spiritual leader, I spend hours on each detail so the piece feels alive. My process is simple: I avoid digital shortcuts and stick to what is real. I use fine-tipped Micron pens for intricate work, like the patterns in my Krishna or mandala portraits, and watercolors for soft, atmospheric pieces. For spiritual figures, I focus on capturing a specific expression—the peace in a guru's eyes or the power in a deity's stance. This isn't mass-produced art. It starts with a blank page and a lot of patience. If you want a portrait of a guru you follow, or a specific representation of a deity for your home, I work from photos to create a piece that feels respectful and authentic. I use archival-quality paper and lightfast pigments so your artwork stays vibrant for years. Every piece is coated with fixative or varnish to protect the surface, and I ship them rolled in sturdy tubes to ensure they reach you safely, anywhere in India. ## About Mahipal Puri I am Mahipal.
