In our sessions, I focus on building your technical foundation—whether that is charcoal shading or color mixing—while giving you the space to interpret the subject in your own style. ### How I Teach Art is not a rigid set of rules, but a conversation between your eye and your hand. In my masterclasses, I emphasize patience and the importance of observation. You will learn to see shapes, light, and shadow before you ever put pigment to paper. ### What You Will Learn * **Charcoal & Graphite Sketching:** We start with the fundamentals of line quality, shading, and anatomical proportion. This is where most students find their confidence. * **Oil & Acrylic Techniques:** For those ready to paint, we cover color theory, brushwork, and layering. I guide you through the process of building a canvas from a blank surface to a finished piece. * **Portraiture:** This is my specialty. You will learn how to capture likeness without losing the emotional essence of the subject. ### Why Join My Studio My studio in Khar West is a quiet, dedicated space designed for deep focus. I do not run large, crowded batches. By keeping groups small or strictly one-on-one, I ensure you get the specific attention you need. We will work on your projects, solve technical hurdles in real-time, and discuss the philosophy behind your choices. Whether you are an architecture student needing to improve your hand sketching or an adult looking for a creative outlet, you will leave every session with both a new skill and a new perspective. ## About Artistic Impressions I have been painting and sculpting for 35 years, but I learn just as much from my students as they learn from me. Teaching is how I pass on the patience and techniques that nature and my own practice have taught me. My studio is a space for us to slow down and create together.
