It is a process of simplifying shapes and picking the right color palette, usually gouache for that smooth, matte finish, before I start painting on high-quality paper or wood. If you are planning a gift, keep in mind that since I hand-paint everything from scratch, I usually need a bit of lead time to make sure it is perfect. Why go for a faceless portrait? It keeps the focus on the moment, the body language, and the relationship, rather than just the facial features. Whether it is a cozy couple shot, a family memory, or a fun group photo, I strip away the details to create something timeless. I offer a few different ways to bring these portraits to life: * **Wooden Slices:** These are my favorite for a rustic, earthy vibe. They sit beautifully on a desk or shelf and make for a very unique gift. * **Framed Art:** Classic and clean. I use gouache for a rich, opaque finish that looks incredible on paper. * **Device Covers:** Want to carry your favorite people with you? I paint custom inserts for clear phone or tablet cases so you can have your art on the go. Every piece is 100% hand-painted by me. I don't print or use digital filters. When you reach out, we will chat about the reference photo you have in mind. I can simplify backgrounds, change colors to match your home aesthetic, or add a personal touch like a name or date. It is a collaborative process and I love seeing how these memories turn out on canvas or wood. ## About Prerna I’m Prerna.
