Just a corner with decent light and two chairs is enough for me to start. Guests often worry about sitting still, but my style is quick—about 10 minutes per person. It’s meant to be fun, not a stiff portrait session, so it’s totally fine if they are chatting or laughing while I sketch. Whether it’s a birthday party, a corporate team-building event, or a sangeet night, people usually look for something that keeps them engaged. That’s where live art comes in. When guests see their own faces being drawn in real-time, it creates a buzz, and they walk away with a souvenir that actually means something. I’ve been doing this for 18 years, from street-side sketches at India Gate to professional setups at events across Delhi NCR. I use high-quality graphite and charcoal from brands like Faber-Castell and Staedtler, so the work looks sharp and stays clean. You don't have to worry about mess or complicated equipment. We keep the process straightforward. You book us for your event slot, we show up, set up our easel, and start sketching your guests. It’s a great way to handle the lulls in a party. If you are planning an office event or a festival in Gurugram or Noida, we are happy to travel. We don't just sketch; we entertain, we chat, and we make sure every guest leaves with a smile. If you’ve seen our work on Radio Mirchi or social media, you know we enjoy what we do—it’s not work for us, it’s our life. ## About Umesh & Saroj Shah Main hoon Umesh, and along with my missez, Saroj, we’ve turned our passion into an 18-year journey of live art. We don’t believe in corporate jargon. We believe in the genuine smile on a guest's face when they see their caricature ready in under 10 minutes.
