Whether it is a family portrait or an individual piece, I capture the personality of your loved ones on canvas with every detail. ## Photos and videos - ![Here I am working on a commissioned portrait. It's a collaborative process where I share updates with you, ensuring the painting truly captures the essence of the person.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/9a781fba-aa11-4eeb-8028-2d958528cebe) ## About Custom Portraits: Your Story on Canvas When we start your portrait, I do not just paint from a photo. I share digital composition updates with you so you can see the layout before I ever touch a brush to the canvas. This keeps us on the same page, especially when we are merging multiple reference photos into one final, cohesive scene. Art for me is shradha, a form of devotion. When you commission a portrait, my goal is to create something you will want to pass down through generations. I use artist-grade acrylic paints on primed cotton canvas, ensuring the colors stay vibrant for years. Every piece is finished with a protective varnish, either gloss or matte, to keep it safe from dust and humidity. I ship these paintings rolled in sturdy PVC pipes because I know finding a local framer gives you the freedom to choose a frame that matches your interior decor perfectly. Since I work from photos, the quality of your reference image is everything. Send me clear, high-resolution shots so I can capture the true likeness and spirit of the person I am painting. Whether you want a single subject or a multi-figure composition for a sofa backdrop, we take it step by step. You will see the progress from the sketch to the final layers, ensuring the result is exactly what you envisioned for your home. ## About Neelam Gupta I am Neelam, and painting is my life’s work.
