Whether I am working on a massive 6 by 7-foot canvas or a delicate miniature, I treat every brushstroke as an act of prayer. My process involves careful layering of acrylics or earth pigments, and I ensure every detail, from the jewelry in a Pahari painting to the skin tones in a portrait, is handled with patience. If you have a vision for your space, send me your idea and I will tell you which style suits your theme best. ### My Artistic Journey Art is my shradha, or devotion. When I paint Mahadev or Ganesha, I feel I am performing a puja. My journey as an artist spans over 13 years, and while it is not always easy, the struggle and dedication are what make the final result meaningful. Bada sapna, bada canvas, aur usse bhi badi mehnat (A big dream, a big canvas, and my even bigger hard work). This is the philosophy I bring to every commission. ### Exploring Indian Traditions I love traveling through India’s artistic soul. My work spans several distinct traditions: * **Paitkar Storytelling:** I use this tribal scroll painting style from Jharkhand for bold narratives, whether it is mythology or modern stories of empowerment. * **Folk Styles:** From the intricate patterns of Gond tribal art to the celebratory vibes of Madhubani and the community scenes of Warli, I adapt these styles to fit modern homes. * **Pahari Miniatures:** I practice the Guler style with deep dedication, mixing my own natural earth pigments to keep the tradition alive. ### How I Work I do not just copy images. I create art that fits your home. Whether you want a large-scale oil masterpiece or a traditional folk painting on archival paper, I focus on quality materials that last. Every work I send out includes a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity. If you are looking for something specific, just reach out, and main aapke liye banaungi (I will make it for you). ## About Neelam Gupta I have been painting for over 13 years, and for me, every brushstroke is a prayer.
