It is never just about replicating what I see; it is about how the light hits the trees or the sound of the water at that exact moment. For a session, I bring my full setup to your chosen spot, and over 5 to 6 hours, we create something together that holds the memory of that specific day. ### Bringing Nature to Your Canvas Painting *en plein air* means I step away from the studio to be where the beauty is. I have painted at sites ranging from the Gira Waterfall in Saputara to quiet, scenic corners around Delhi. By setting up my easel in the open, I can observe how the light shifts over the afternoon and capture the atmosphere that a photograph often misses. ### How We Work Together My setups are minimal and non-intrusive. For larger commissions, I use acrylics on 18x24 or 20x30 inch stretched cotton canvas, typically taking 5 to 6 hours to complete. I bring everything needed, including drop cloths to protect your venue flooring, so you don't need to worry about the cleanup. ### Sketching vs. Painting - **Detailed Canvas:** These are 5-6 hour sessions using high-quality acrylics with a gloss or matte varnish. Best for lasting, realistic representations of landscapes. - **Live Sketching:** If you prefer something faster, my 4-hour sketching sessions use soft pastels, charcoal, or watercolors. These are great for capturing quick details or garden vignettes and are handed over in reinforced folders immediately. I am available to travel anywhere in India for these sessions. If you have a specific landscape in mind—maybe a family property, a childhood home, or a favorite hill station view—I would love to come and paint it for you. ## About Alok Yadav Hi, I am Alok.
