Every stroke is an attempt to capture the divine peace and energy that connects us all. ## Photos and videos - ![A large acrylic portrait of Lord Krishna, painted on-site. Creating devotional art like this is a spiritual practice for me, and I pour all my reverence into capturing the serene and loving expression of the divine.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/21b69779-4ce2-4550-9d91-1ba4051d8d70) ## About Devotional Art: Portraits of the Divine When I start a devotional portrait, the process begins with meditation rather than just picking up a brush. I often spend time reflecting on the deity's expression to understand the *bhav* (feeling) before adding any color to the canvas. My focus is on creating a piece that feels like a living, breathing part of your puja room or home, using high-quality acrylics that are finished with a protective varnish to ensure the details remain sharp for years. ### My Approach to Spiritual Art Painting Krishna, Mahadev, or other forms of the divine is a meditative journey for me. I believe that art is a medium to channel devotion, and when I paint these portraits, my goal is to translate that reverence onto the canvas. Whether you are looking for a serene Krishna for your living room or a powerful Mahadev for your home altar, I work to capture the essence that resonates with you. ### Customization and Quality Each painting is handmade, ensuring that no two pieces are identical. When you commission a devotional piece, we discuss the size and the specific mood you want to evoke. * **Surfaces:** I use stretched cotton canvas or high-quality canvas boards for longevity. * **Medium:** I work primarily with acrylics, which allow for vibrant colors and intricate details. Every painting is sealed with a gloss or matte varnish to protect it from dust and humidity. * **Standard Sizes:** I typically work on 18x24 inch or 20x30 inch formats, but I am happy to discuss custom dimensions to fit your specific wall space. ### Why Choose Handmade Unlike printed art, these handmade portraits carry the energy of the time and effort put into them. I invite you to share your idea, the specific deity or moment you want captured, and we can discuss how to bring that vision to life. It is not just about decorating a wall; it is about creating a space for reflection and peace. ## About Alok Yadav Namaste, I am Alok.
