Whether I am sketching a divine portrait of Krishna or painting a quiet landscape, each artwork takes me between 30 to 70 hours, and I share the entire process with you—from the first pencil mark to the final varnish. I believe art is a form of meditation. When I pick up a brush, I am not just creating a product; I am pouring my energy into a scene, whether it is the cosmic depth of Mahadev or a simple moment of peace in a landscape. ### My Approach to Your Art Every commission I take is personal. I work primarily with heavy-body acrylics on 300GSM paper or canvas board to ensure the colors stay vibrant for years. For portraits, I focus on capturing the emotion rather than just the likeness. If you have a specific scene in mind, like a Ram Darbar or a personal memory you want preserved, I sketch it out first to ensure we are on the same page. ### The Process * **Initial Sketch:** We start with the concept. I use grids to keep the proportions right for portraits. * **Layering:** I build the depth using multiple coats, allowing for drying time. This is where the 'magic' happens. * **Protection:** Every piece is finished with a coat of high-quality varnish to protect it from dust and UV light. I deliver everything unframed, packed securely between cardboard sheets so it reaches you safely, anywhere in India. If you have a unique idea or a photo you want to turn into a painting, let us talk about how to make it happen. ## About Alok Yadav Hi, I am Alok.
