For the Kathakali and Theyyam faces, I prefer working on an 8x8 inch size because it lets me focus on the intense expressions and jewelry details. I finish every painting with a coat of gloss varnish to protect the colors and keep them vibrant for years. My work here is all about capturing the energy of home. When I moved from Bangalore to Kochi, I brought these stories with me—the dramatic face paint of a Kathakali dancer, the power of a Theyyam performer, and the calm of a Kerala mural. These aren't prints; they are original, handmade paintings where I pay attention to every line. ### How I Work * **Kathakali & Theyyam:** These are my favorite subjects. I focus on high-contrast colors and the specific expressions of Pacha or Kathi characters. If you want a specific character or mood, just let me know. * **Kerala Mural Style:** I love the flow of these traditional lines. Whether it's a deity or a floral motif, I use a traditional color palette that brings a peaceful, artistic vibe to any room. * **Customization:** If you have a particular god, size, or color scheme in mind, I am always happy to talk about it. Bas, batao (just tell me), and we can figure out the details together. Every piece is signed by me and comes unframed, ready for you to add your personal touch when you display it. Since everything is handmade by me, I put a lot of care into the process so you get something truly unique. ## About Apshra Hi, I'm Ayshwarya.
