I avoid digital stencils to ensure every stroke is authentic, whether it is the fine lines on a Ganesha or the gold-leaf detailing on a Buddha. It is not just about the final image, but the energy and intention I pour into the work while it is on my easel. When you commission a piece, we discuss not just the size, but the specific 'vibe' you want to bring into your room. ### Your Vision, My Brush When you ask me for a spiritual painting, we are creating a focal point for your meditation space or living area. I specialize in both traditional and contemporary styles to match your home aesthetic. **My Creative Process** * **Traditional Roots:** I love working with folk techniques like Madhubani and Gond. These styles are intricate and tell a story, making them perfect for spiritual subjects. * **Modern Touches:** For a contemporary look, I use heavy-body acrylics on stretched canvas. I often incorporate metallic gold or silver leafing to add a shimmer that catches the light, especially on symbols like the Om or the Buddha. * **No Negative Space:** My approach for larger masterpieces involves filling the canvas with geometric patterns and storytelling elements, ensuring the artwork feels complete and vibrant. **Common Requests** Clients often reach out for depictions of Ganesha, Shiva, Maa Durga, or Buddha. Whether you need a small, intimate piece for an altar or a large, commanding canvas for a feature wall, I scale my technique to fit. I use lightfast, professional-grade acrylics that are built to last, preserving the colors for years. **How We Get Started** Since these are custom commissions, we start by talking about the space. Is it for a quiet corner or a busy living room? What colors speak to you? I ship my work carefully across India, ensuring the canvas arrives safely in a reinforced tube or flat-packed depending on the size. If you have an idea—even if it is just a feeling or a rough sketch—let us talk, and I will help you bring it to life. ## About Soojata Arora I'm Soojata, and for me, painting isn't just about the canvas—it's my 'sukoon' (peace). I pour my heart into these spiritual pieces, letting every stroke be a form of meditation. When I paint a deity or a sacred symbol, I'm not just making art; I'm creating a little corner of calm for your home.
